Privacy

The operators of this website take protecting your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data in confidence and in line with data protection regulations, as well as this privacy statement.

As a rule, it is possible to use our website without giving personal information. If personal information (for example, name, address or email addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis, as far as possible. This data will not be disclosed to third parties without your express permission.

We would like to point out that there can be security gaps when data is transferred online (e.g. during email communication). It is not possible to completely protect data against access by third parties.

Collection and use of personal data

Personal data (e.g. name and email address) is only collected on this website if you communicate this information to us yourself, for example if you contact us, e.g. if you enter this data into an input field on our website or send it to us by email. To provide access to some services, it is necessary in some cases to collect personal data, e.g. name, email address, address and telephone number.

Your personal data will only be used for contacting you or for the purpose for which you have provided us with this data, e.g. for processing your enquiries, technical administration of the website or customer management.
Communication of this information is expressly voluntary and subject to your consent. If the data involves information about communication channels (email address or telephone number, for example), you also consent to us contacting you via these communication channels, in order to respond to your request.

We might use your postal and email address to send you information about our products and services, if applicable. We will only use your data for the purposes of providing information about our company’s new products and other services that might interest you, if you have given your consent in advance, to the extent required by law, or if statutory regulations permit this use.

You can opt out of receiving advertising from our company at any time, with effect for the future, by informing us via the contact details below. You will not incur any costs for this other than transmission costs as per the basic tariffs. You can also withdraw any declarations of consent granted, via the contact details below.

Disclosure of personal data

We will only disclose your personal data to other parties if disclosure without your consent is lawful or, if this is not the case, you have expressly consented to disclosure beyond the scope of processing of the contract, if disclosure is necessary for providing the offers or services that you want to use, or if a sub-contractor or vicarious agent, who is used to provide the offers or services, needs this data. Unless you are expressly informed otherwise, such auxiliaries are only entitled to use data in so far as is necessary for providing the offer or service, or if there is an enforceable official or court order, or if this use is necessary to prevent misuse of our offer or services, in particular use that violates our terms and conditions or special terms of use, in a legally admissible way.

Cookies

Some websites use ‘cookies’. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. They are used to make our online presence more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after the end of your session. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies allow your browser to be recognised the next time you visit the website.

You can adjust your browser settings so that you are informed when cookies are stored, and only allow cookies in individual cases, allow them in some cases, or decline them as a general rule, as well as activate automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. The functions of this website may be limited if you deactivate cookies.

Server log files

The website provider collects and automatically stores information in server log files that your browser automatically sends us. These are:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the computer accessing the information
  • Time of the server request
  • IP addresses

It is not possible to allocate this data to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to subsequently examine this data if we become aware of firm grounds to suspect unlawful use.

These logs are deleted after four weeks at the latest.

Contact form

If you send us an enquiry using the contact form, we will store your data from the enquiry form, including the contact details you have provided, for the purposes of processing the enquiry and any associated follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

If you have contacted us with the intention of concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted once processing of your enquiry is complete. This is the case if the circumstances show that the matter has been resolved and unless it is opposed by statutory retention periods.

Involvement of third-party services and content

Our offer sometimes includes content and services from other providers. This includes, for example, maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube, as well as graphics and images from other websites. Disclosure of the IP address is essential in order to call up and display this data in the user’s browser. The providers (hereinafter referred to as ‘third-party providers’) can therefore see the IP address of the respective user.

Even if we try to only use third-party providers that only require the IP address to be able to provide content, we have no influence on whether the IP address is saved. IP addresses serve for statistical purposes, among others. If we are aware that IP addresses are being saved, we will draw our users’ attention to this.

Use of Google Maps

On our website, we use ‘Google Maps’, provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereinafter referred to as ‘Google’.

Every time the ‘Google Maps’ elements are retrieved, Google sets a cookie, in order to process user settings and data when the page, into which the ‘Google Maps’ elements are integrated, is displayed.
As a rule, this cookie is not deleted when the browser is closed, but expires after a certain time, unless it is deleted manually first.

‘Google Maps’ and the information obtained through ‘Google Maps’ are used pursuant to Google’s Terms of Service http://policies.google.com/terms?hl=en&gl=de

as well as the Additional Terms of Service for ‘Google Maps’ https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html

Facebook Pixel

Our website measures conversions using visitor action pixels from Facebook, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook").

These allow the behavior of site visitors to be tracked after they click on a Facebook ad to reach the provider's website. This allows an analysis of the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes and their future optimization.

The data collected is anonymous to us as operators of this website and we cannot use it to draw any conclusions about our users' identities. However, the data are stored and processed by Facebook, which may make a connection to your Facebook profile and which may use the data for its own advertising purposes, as stipulated in the Facebook privacy policy. This will allow Facebook to display ads both on Facebook and on third-party sites. We have no control over how this data is used.

Check out Facebook's privacy policy to learn more about protecting your privacy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
You can also deactivate the custom audiences remarketing feature in the Ads Settings section at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. You will first need to log into Facebook.
If you do not have a Facebook account, you can opt out of usage-based advertising from Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

Objecting to the collection of data

You can prevent the collection of your data by Facebook by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent your data from being collected on future visits to this site: Disable Facebook Pixel.
